In addition, here are a few samples of pieces not on the CD that I've recorded recently to give a sense of the kind of music that I play and what it will sound like in live performance. These are all original arrangements with a focus on wedding music and are just simple home recordings. I plan to add several more Celtic and original tunes soon. With enough lead-time I'm happy to try to learn new pieces for your event. - Bob

The Beachglass Man Bowman - 1974 I wrote this song about a dear friend, neighbor, artist, author, storyteller, Ashley Bryan. I was 19 years old and Ashley was 51. Ashley used to carry a recording of this song around with him on a portable cassette player and play it for people he'd meet on the street! Eventually National Geographic filmed me performing it for a documentary about Ashley. It's probably been 30 years since I've sung publicly, but I made this new little recording for the celebration of Ashley's 90th birthday.
Bob Bowman is available for both public and private engagements.
